Activate a Mac offline

For a studio Mac that never goes online: it shows a request code, this page turns it into an activation code on any device with internet, and the Mac accepts it. Once activated, it never needs the internet for its licence.

  1. On the offline Mac, choose Clap Studio > Enter Licence…, enter your key and click This Mac is not online. It shows a request code that starts with CSR1-.
  2. On this page, paste or type that code and click Make Activation Code.
  3. Type or paste the activation code, which starts with CSA1-, into the same window on the Mac.
