Manage your Macs
A licence works on up to 5 Macs. Here you can see which ones use it and remove one you no longer use, such as a Mac you sold or replaced, to free its place. There is no account or password: a link sent to the licence’s email address opens your list.
On the Mac itself
On a Mac you still use, Deactivate This Mac… in Settings > Licence (or the Clap Studio menu) frees its place and goes back to the free edition with every file kept. Reinstalling macOS on the same Mac uses no extra place. Removing a Mac here frees its place; it does not reach that Mac. A Mac without internet can be activated with a code made on Activate a Mac offline.
